HOW CAN I SUPPORT GREENFUTURES?

Look out for our logo

The Green Futures Education Trust is a non-profit organization established to train and find employment for people in the fynbos conservation and landscaping industry. By buying plants with the Green futures logo you are helping to support the ongoing work of the Trust. As part of their practical training, our students have grown these plants and all the proceeds from their sale go back into the Trust.

Get the Green Futures Team to landscape your garden

The Green Futures team tackles a limited number of landscaping and fynbos restoration projects each year. These are selectively chosen on the basis that they will provide valuable learning grounds for our trainees. Experienced fynbos landscapers supervise all projects.

Employ our graduates

The success of the green Futures program is not only in the training, but even more importantly in placing our graduates in a rewarding working environment. If you would like to employ one of our students on completion of their year's training contact us.

Donations

There are opportunities to support the activities of the Trust through financial donations or donations in kind. Donations can be made to support the general work of the Trust or more specific aspects of the Green Future Program (e.g. bursaries for graduate’s further education, funding for start-up costs for graduate’s small business initiatives etc.) Donations in kind (e.g. a computer, paper, printing, tools, footwear, assisting with accommodation for travelling personnel, etc.) are also very welcome. Contributions to the Trust are not subject to donation tax nor estate duty. Bequests may be specifically designed to cater for the interests of the individual.
