Zolisa 'Lourence' Mgalani My name is Lourence and I am from the Eastern Cape. I am from a village which is called Ntumandeni which is close to Umtata. I now live in Masakhane, just outside of Gansbaai. I love people and enjoy working with people and in my future I want to do good things for people. I like nature and working with plants and to be honest I enjoy being here at Green Futures College. I love my class mates and my lecturers are very good. I learn lots of things here like how to look after plants and how to make compost. It is nice to be here!
Zimasa Gobingca I am Zimasa Gobngca and I come from a small village called Ngqeleni, which is close to Umtata in the Eastern Cape. I came to Gansbaai to look for a job, but then heard about Green Futures. They told me that you learn about nature, plants, the computer, and to get your dirvers license. I am interested in nature and filled out the form and went for an interview. It is amazing to be here. The more time I spend here, the more I want to learn. I want to achieve my goals and be part of this for a long time.
Zubule Tshayimpunzi I came from the Eastern Cape in 2007. I am now at Green Futures because I want full knowledge about the plants. I like to work hard when I am in the garden. At the end of the year, I would like to work for Grootbos. I really enjoyed our outing to Salmonsdam and it was a very happy day for me because I learnt about and saw different things about the Proteas.
Luyanda Matwa I am Luyanda and I come from a town called Lady Frere, which is close to Ngxabene in the the Eastern Cape. I am here at Green Futures to learn more about nature how to protect nature and how to look after nature. I am also learning about how to grow plants. After I finish this course, I would like to be a nursery manager.
Gcinisizwe Momoza I come from the Eastern Cape and came here to get a job. Most of the time I like to read my book becase I want to get a good result at the end of the year. I also want to learn about different types of plants and animals.
Masilakhe 'Slima' Falo I come from King William's Town in the Eastern Cape. I like being at Green Futures because I am learning about more than one thing. I am the class clown and like to make jokes. I am a happy man. I love the people. My message to other people is to be honest with yourself!
Samkelo Vula I come from Ngqeleni, which is in the Eastern Cape. I am very happy to be a student at Green Futures because I want to learn and achieve my goal! I like nature and I am getting knowledge about plants and how to use them. I would one day like to get a job in the Grootbos or Green Futures garden.
Lindelani Nyandeni "I am from the Eastern Cape. I was born in King William's Town, which is a very small town! I am very happy to be at Green Futures! I am learning more about different kinds of plants, including our rich vegetation, known as Fynbos. I am enjoying every moment in our Cape Floral Kingdom."
Annita I am Annita Mbalekwa from Masakhane, originally from Ngqeleni. I am at Green Futures because I like nature and plants very much. I am enjoying being there and I hope that I will learn more about nature and plants. I like to play netball and read magazines. I am proud to be at Green Futures and my lecturers are very friendly. I am proud of myself because I know I am going to achieve my goals when I finish this course!
