Mlindeli Fadana (26 years)

My name is Mlindeli Fadana. I was born in 1982. Im coming from the Eastern Cape. I am now a student in Green Futures to learn about plants. I like to be a guide on next year. I have a garden because I like to grow plants. I like all our teachers and am happy at Green Futures because we can grow vegetables and learn many plant names.

Mzamo Behene (30 Years)

I was born in Port St Johns on 15 March 1979. I lived in Caguba and I passed grade 10 at school. This year I am one of the Green Futures students and I am very happy because I have never done landscaping in my life. Now I wish one day to be a great landscaper and I feel very good to be a Green Futures student. My favourite teacher is Susan and my favourite subject is plant identification. At the end of the course I want to work with the environment because now I am learning so much about it.

Nomthethu Jam-Jam (26 Years)

I am Nomthethu Jam-Jam and I come from the Eastern Cape - in Umtata. In 2007 I was doing Matric and I passed it. Now I am in Green Futures college and I enjoy to study about plants. When I finish with my studies I would love to be a guide. I love reading magazines and to sing.

Sithembo Promise Hashibi (25 Years)

I was born in Lady Frere on 1984-09-08. I like to play soccer and listen to music. I was so glad to hear that I was selected to attend the Green Futures College. I would like to work for this College to show them what the teach me during the whole year. I started very well so far both Susan and Sharlene are my favourite teachers because they have the attitude that I like to see and hear. I really enjoy to be with them and viola as well. She is a role model to me.

Zukisani Jackson (24 Years)

My name is Zukisani Jackson. My surname is Vongwe. I am 24 years old. My place of birth is was at the Eastern Cape at Frank Fort location under Bisho. After Green Futures I want to work with plants. I'm happy to be here because I learn more about plants and people. I am male and tall and I am light in complexion.

Abongile Fodo (21 Years)

I am Abongile Fodo and I was born in the Eastern Cape at Ngqeleni. I'm 21 years old. After I'm finished in Green Futures I like to be a guide here in Grootbos. My favourite teacher is miss Susan. My favourite sport is soccer and always on weekends I play soccer and I'm watching the games.

Anecke Valentine (22 Years)

My name is Anecke Valentine. Ive lived in Gansbaai, Blompark my whole life. I am 22 years old. I love watching krieket and rugby and also love to read. My favourite food is chicken and pasta. My first month at Green Futures is very nice and I have learnt a lot. I enjoy this course because it is giving me the experience to learn a lot about nature and plants.

Anele Tungilizwe

I am Anele Tungwilizwe, I was born in Eastern Cape in Port St Johns. After Green Futures I would like to work at Green Futures because when I'm at Green Futures I am very happy. My favourite things - I like to play soccer and physical training all the time. My favourite food is fruit and veggie and meat. My favourite teacher is Susan and I enjoy her teaching. My best friend in the class in Mzamo.

Bongani Mjokweni (23 Years)

I was born in the Eastern Cape in King Williams Town in 1986-04-04. I grew up with my family of 5 members; my brother, sisters, mother and father. I stay in Gansbaa at Masakhane. I love music, soccer and cricket. I like to read magazines and see new faces. different stories and opinions about people. I dislike to be discriminated by other people. The food that I like the most is rice and soup with vegetables. I Green Futures I enjoy every moment I have. Green Future is such a wonderful school for me because they talk about what I like - nature, how to conserve nature. I feel like being in Green Futures has changed my whole life already and after Green Futures I would like to go and learn about tourism to that I can be proudly sure that I conserve nature.

James John Windt (17 Years)

My name is James John Windt and I am 17! After studying at Green Futures I plan to go into the horticultural business. First I hope to start working at Heidehof Nature Reserve.

Lukas Mamimjwa (20 Years)

My name is Lukhanyo Lukas Mamimjwa and I was born in 1989 in the Eastern Cape at Port St Johns. I am friendly with people. One day when I finish Green Futures I would like to be a landscaper. I have had a good time here in the first few weeksand enjoy myself very much. After school I like to study at home and play soccer. I am glad I can learn more about plants and life skills. Luthando Mwezeni (23 Years)

I am Luthando Mwezeni. I was born in the Eastern Cape at Port St Johns at 1986/04/03. I grew up there with my family, I have a 2 sisters and 1 borther. I like to play soccer in my spare time and read the news. My favourite hobby is Generations(tv show). when I finish to learn at Green Futures I would like to work landscape because I am interested in working with plants. When I started to learn here I was feeling happy because I like the college. I will make my own garden at home.
