HOW WILL IT BECOME SUSTAINABLE?

Green Futures is a non-profit organisation. Linked to the college is an indigenous plant nursery and fynbos landscaping business. Funds generated through the sale of plants and provision of landscaping services are reinvested into the Green Futures Education Trust Fund. In this way each year students are growing plants and working on landscaping projects that will help to pay for the next years students tuition.

CAPE REEDS - "RESTIOS"

The Cape Reeds belong to the family Restionaceae; and are known as "Restios". They are the group of plants that help us to recognise fynbos vegetation. Green Futures is growing a beautiful variety for gardening projects and to sell in our nursery and use in gardening projects.
